MIKE BERRY
Board Memeber
As a younger believer, my first mission trip was to Esperanza, Mexico, a village of less than 300. Esperanza is two hours west of Cancun, and it is there I met Santiago. He was splitting time between his Church in Cancun and a number of tiny villages that lacked a preacher for their churches. It was an act of selflessness on his part.
We hit it off, and 20 years later I still have heart for him and his ministry.
I am delighted to be serving Santiago Vela Ministries, mostly from my home in Florida and by way of periodic trips back to the Yucatan. It is an honor. And what a step forward we have taken to help focus and finance SVM’s role in the life of both Christ Our Redeemer Church in Cancun as well as in Third Millenium Ministries.
I live in Jacksonville Beach with my wife, Patti. My day job is as a Realtor. I have three kids, four grandkids, a cat and two beach cruisers
